Shamrock Cottage is set in an idyllic location on the Dingle Peninsula 2.6 km from Ventry in County Kerry. This traditional and rustic stone cottage is one of four unique holiday accommodations located on Ventry Farm.
Refurbished with love and reopened in 2022 these converted 16th-century stables and creameries are sure to offer a charming holiday experience on the west coast of Ireland.
These holiday rentals are ideal for unwinding and relaxing - located on a quiet country road off Slea Head Drive with the stunning views of Mount Eagle and only 400m away from the beautiful Blue Flag Beach.
Secluded Ventry Farm provides four distinctive and unique holiday cottages that can be booked individually or collectively, sleeping up to 13 guests in total. Discover our collection of enchanting holiday cottages, the ideal retreat for a family gathering or group of friends:

Ventry Farm – Shamrock Cottage Description – Sleeps 3:

Shamrock Cottage is a cosy and comfortable self-catering holiday accommodation with scenic views. This property boasts stunning stone walls that add character and charm, complemented by unique flagstone flooring inside, creating a truly distinctive and inviting ambience. This open-plan seaside holiday cottage has 2 beds and sleeps 3 guests:

Safety note for the property:
- floor levels: the lounge has several small stairs / steps
- the small mezzanine sleeping area is accessible by a ladder and its head height is only 4 feet high so it might be unsuitable for people with mobility issues / visually impaired / children so extra caution is required.
- the fireplace shown in the bedroom is an original feature but is not operational for health and safety reasons.
- the garden is not enclosed so children and animals should be supervised at all times.

Property layout – Ground floor:
Stylish open plan kitchenette, dining, kitchenette and sleeping area with upstairs mezzanine style bedroom and ground floor double bed:

Here you will have access to TV, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, iron, ironing board and clothes horse.
All Cottages have a L'OR Barista Coffee Machine (Nespresso compatible).

Enjoy a bite to eat at the famous Páidí Ó Sé's Pub, a 2-minute drive away. This quaint pub has a strong feeling of tradition, not just from the perspective of sports but also from the visits of notable politicians, actors, and other celebrities. The place exudes a genuine sense of tranquillity in the heart of one of Ireland’s Gaelic-speaking areas. Ventry Inn pub is located in the heart of Ventry village and is a 30 min walk along the beach.

1. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid before check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
